CEO Chat: Conversations with Foundation Leaders

Friday, June 4, 2021 9:00am - 10:00am CDT

Featuring Jennifer Ford Reedy, President, Bush Foundation

Beginning in 2021, MCF will be offering a series of CEO Chats with the presidents or senior leaders of Minnesota’s philanthropic organizations. Nonprofit staff and board members are invited to sign up for these free, virtual conversations.

During each CEO Chat, attendees will have an opportunity to meet the foundation leader, and learn about the foundation’s  priorities and strategic decisions. Participants will be encouraged to ask questions in this discussion facilitated by MCF President Susie Brown. We hope you’ll join us for candid conversation about many of the pressing issues and challenges facing Minnesota’s nonprofit and philanthropic sectors.

On June 4, we’ll hear from Jennifer Ford Reedy. Jen has been president of the Bush Foundation since September 2012. Prior to joining the Foundation, Jen served as chief of staff and vice president of strategy for the St. Paul and Minnesota Foundations, where she led the creation of and Give to the Max Day. Jen was also a consultant with McKinsey and Company for nine years and directed the Itasca Project, a CEO-led regional civic initiative in the Twin Cities. She currently serves on the boards of Council on Foundations, GHR Foundation, Independent Sector and Regions Hospital. She also volunteers as an election judge and teaches a graduate course in philanthropic history and strategy at the University of Minnesota. She is a proud Jayhawk and went to graduate school at the University of Chicago. She has two great kids and one great husband.

CEO Chats are open to nonprofit staff and board members; pre-registration is required. Log-in details will be provided in your confirmation email. The meetings are not intended for MCF's foundation members. Contact Josh Vang, MCF’s Member Services Manager, for additional information at
