Description: Join hundreds of advocates at the highly anticipated 2016 Children & Youth Issues Briefing, which convenes each year prior to the start of the legislative session. 

This year’s program will focus on emerging legislative issues expected to significantly impact our state’s children and youth. Hear from experts and leaders across the state, and engage in discussion to learn what’s on the horizon for Minnesota’s children and youth through the lens of policy and systems change.

Topic discussions will include:

  • Early Childhood Development – Meeting the Needs of Families
  • Legislative Panel – Emerging Policies
  • Racial Equity for Youth in Education and Out-of-School Time

Join us for this uniquely interactive and informative session to engage presenters and participants in critical discussions around policies focused on improving outcomes for our state’s young children and youth.
